Former Senator Selina Meyer (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) has accepted the offer to be vice president of the United States. This function is not at all as he would have liked, but rather as he was warned it would be. The series follows Meyer and her staff who together try to stand out and leave behind a lasting legacy, without being fooled by the daily political games that define the capital.
